EAGLES SOAR AT MORNINGSIDE ACADEMY

You Are One of A Kind Eagle Awards
Port St. Lucie - Six Morningside Academy students were honored in a school ceremony by local attorney Philip DeBerard as the You Are One of A Kind Eagle Award winners. The awards which recognized outstanding Morningside Academy students are part of a monthly student recognition program which is now in its 12th year.
Eagle Award winners, with their proud parents watching, each received an engraved Bible and a certificate of accomplishment from attorney DeBerard in a ceremony in the school’s chapel. The award winning students for the months of September and October are:

Rebecca Blair
Hannah Favier
Jordan Mann
Jamin Brown
Mary Jane Andrade
Each of these students was nominated and recognized by a teacher and met specific criteria set forth by Philip DeBerard. The guiding principle of the You Are One of A Kind Eagle award is recognition of students who have distinguished themselves through Christian witness, scholarship, leadership, and acts of service. These are students who soar above the crowd like an eagle through their commitment to Christ, strength of character, and service to others.
"I am proud of the many contributions these students make in their communities and schools," DeBerard said. "Their commitment to helping others and their dedication to serving their communities will ensure they grow up to become active and devoted citizens."
